CELEBRATE YOUR WEDDING with a distinctly English tradition - an Afternoon Tea reception, with beautiful vintage china, elegant cutlery, along with dainty finger sandwiches, savouries, scones served with clotted cream and jam, along with scrumptious cakes.*

Every wedding we curate is unique - a blend of colour, and quiet nostalgia chosen to reflect your story. Because no two tablescapes are the same, our pricing is designed to be flexible, transparent and guided by your vision.

When you commission The Vintage Tea Service for your wedding breakfast you have the choice of just hiring the vintage china and accessories or you can have the complete package which includes the catering too.

Most couples invest between £250 - £700 for a beautifully vintage tablescape, including the china, glassware, cutlery and serving ware. We don't have minimum hire fee.

The Experience
At The Vintage Tea Service, we specialise in creating bespoke wedding experiences tailored to your unique vision. Our dedicated service begins with an initial consultation, where we’ll explore your design ideas and palettes, ensuring every detail is perfect for your special day. With regular communication throughout the planning process, we’ll work closely together to curate a stunning selection of china and accessories that elevate your wedding reception, regardless of your budget. Whether you’re planning an intimate gathering or a larger celebration, we’re here to make your wedding dreams come true.
Your Journey with Us
Once you've decided to commission The Vintage Tea Service for your wedding reception, we'll discuss whether you want to have a complete package, which includes the catering, or you just want to hire your vintage china and accessories and have your catering from an alternative provider. This process can be started by completing the initial enquiry form when you contact The Vintage Tea Service initially.
When you have made the decision on what option you want to go for, we'll first discuss your ideas for your china. Next we will have a face to face meeting so that you can view some of the china available, the colour(s) palette and designs that you want to go with, this will help with the next stage of planning, I’ll then plan out the teacups, saucers and tea plates and coordinate it with the 8” plates, teapots and 3 tier stands for each table. And at each stage of the process you can have as much, or a little input as you wish, I’ll work with your florist and event planner to maximise the overall feel of your wedding reception. Finally, a couple of weeks before your wedding we’ll confirm your china, so that you know exactly the look that you’ll be getting.The next stage will be to plan out each table with all the china.

If you decide to go for the complete package either the Lace, Pearl, Sapphire or Diamond, you'll be put in contact with Rhiannon from The Wild Flour Food Co, she'll take the lead from the catering side of things. Once you have agreed your menu, Rhiannon I will discuss the china, food options and coordinate so that everything looks as amazing as it can be at your reception.
Delivery and set-up will be agreed and the catering will be delivered and displayed as close to the reception as possible, making sure you, your spouse and guests receive the ultimate experience with beautifully fresh homemade food on stunning vintage china.
After the wedding the china will be collected.

Your journey begins with a personal consultation, where we explore your theme, palette, and guest experience. We create a visual plan — from place settings and centrepieces to tea stations and dessert displays — that balances romance with practicality and flow.

Curated Vintage Collections
Our collection features an extensive range of tea trios, cake stands, serving platters, teapots, cream jugs, sugar bowls, and silver‑plated cutlery. Choose coordinated elegance or an artful mix‑and‑match; either way, each piece has been selected for its quality, character, and photographic beauty.

Styling & Tablescapes
I provide detailed layout guidance and styling support to ensure your tables feel cohesive and inviting. Think layered textures, delicate florals, crystal accents, and just‑so proportions — designed to make your photographer swoon and your guests linger.

Catering Partnerships
Prefer a complete Afternoon Tea experience? I work in partnership with Little Mouse Catering, however, if you already have your own caterer or the venue has an in-house team, I can coordinate seamlessly them, marrying exquisite presentation with handcrafted menus for a memorable, stress‑free service.

Delivery, Setup & Collection
My team ensures a smooth, punctual delivery to your venue, with optional setup assistance and effortless collection post‑event. All cleaning is handled by us, so there’s no washing up required — simply enjoy your day.

Service Areas & Availability
We serve weddings across Cheshire and the North West, with limited seasonal availability in additional regions. From September 2026, a full service will be offered not only in the North West of Uk, also the South Coast of England (Hampshire) We are currently booking for 2026, 2027, and 2028.
